10. Publication Opportunity/Conference Paper Submission 

Although we will not be publishing proceedings per se, papers presented at the conference may be submitted for possible publication in the Asia Journal of Global Studies (AJGS). Please consult the following guidelines. Note that papers not using the specified guidlelines will not be considered for publication. The deadline for paper submissions to be considered for publication is May 1, 2012. Note that papers should also be submitted by March 1, 2012 for participants at the conference. (Click here for details on on how to submit for AAGS 2012.) After receiving comments and feedback at the conference the papers may be revised for submission for the publication review by the May 1, 2012 deadline (send to aagsconference@yahoo.com).

Submission of proposal: December 14, 2012
Notification of proposal result: December 21, 2012
Deadline for earlybird registration: February 1, 2012
Deadline for presenters' registration*: February 1, 2012
Deadline for refunds**: February 21, 2012
Deadline for submission of conference paper: March 1, 2012
Conference event: March 17-18, 2012
Deadline for submission of papers for publication review: May 1, 2012

* All presenters must submit their conference fees in advance, by Feb. 1, before they can be registered. (On site fees will only be accepted for non-presenters.)
** No refunds after 21 February, 2012. Refunds requested before this time will be returned two weeks following the conference.
